Registered Nurses
While working as a Registered Nurse, you can expect your days to include:

Checking vital signs.

Providing direct patient care.

Conducting physical and psychological assessments, and administer medication.

Collaborating with other healthcare team members to provide holistic care.

Providing general supervision of the unit and serves a Charge Nurses (as required).

Registered Practical Nurses
While working as a Registered Practical Nurse, you can expect your days to include:

Providing quality patient-oriented care in hospital and community health.

Developing care plans and discharge plans based on clients' individual needs.

Providing comprehensive assessments of client's needs to determine their functional and cognitive capabilities.

Providing health care and support, and advocate for clients with Health Care Providers.

Educating clients and families on health care needs, conditions, and options to achieve their optimal health, independence, and dignity.

Personal Support Workers
While working as a Personal Support Worker, you can expect your days to include:

Caring for clients and families during periods of illness or recovery.
-
Providing bedside and personal care to clients including helping clients to move, bathe, groom and get dressed and undressed.

Assisting clients with the planning and preparing meals.
-
Assisting clients with light housekeeping such as laundry and washing dishes, etc.

Turning clients to prevent bed sores, applying medicinal lotions, and helping with oral medication, as applicable.

Developmental Support Workers
While working as a Developmental Support Worker, you can expect your days to include:
